Our Piccolo Viaggio ("Little Journey") is a monthly organized community ride for men led by Ray Arata and Chris Kyle, co-founders of The Ascendant Company. Our 2-hour ride will be followed by a fun and interactive group lunch. We will also lead a brief dynamic discussion before we start the ride, and you'll have time to network with other like-minded men afterward. All cycling levels are welcome. We will gather at the selected meeting spot at 8:45 AM on the scheduled Saturday. We'll return to the starting point for our lunch and connection time. We will be complete by 1:00 pm. The Trail Less Traveled: Mountain Biking Lake Tahoe
September 15-19, 2010
Our first mountain biking ALJ will be based in the Lake Tahoe area where mountain biking aficionados come from all over the world to pedal the picturesque trails of this high Sierra outdoor paradise. In the Lake Tahoe region alone there are over 100 miles of marked trails where you can grunt, groan and stir up some dirt. Each day will feature a different trail with varying terrain. We will be riding both single track and fire roads, with a mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of difficulty. We'll explore the powerful metaphor of the mountain bike and the trail mirroring our lives, and how the lessons of the ride can inform our personal and professional journey. The cuisine and wine will be organic and locally influenced.
